Privacy Statement

As the operator of the website www.josefine-koenig.com, we attach
great importance to protecting your privacy. In doing so, we take particular
care in how we treat the personal data with which you can be personally
identified. The following gives a simple overview of what happens to your
personal information when you visit our website.

1. Who is responsible for the data collection on this website?

The responsible party, pursuant to Art. 4 para. 7 of the EU General
Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is MOIRAI GmbH.
For any requests concerning data protection issues please contact:
datenschutz [at] josefine-koenig [dot] com.

2. How do we collect your data and where is it kept?

The data you provide to us by e-mail, telephone, fax or via a contact
form (e-mail address, name, telephone number) will be stored by us
in order to answer your questions and deal with your concerns.

This data is collected and processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 (b)
of the GDPR, if your request relates to the execution of a contract or
is required to carry out pre-contractual activities. In all other cases,
the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 (a) of the GDPR)
or our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 (f) of the GDPR) in effectively
processing the requests addressed to us.

We will retain the data you provide in the contact form until its deletion
is requested, your consent for storage is revoked, or the purpose for its
storage is no longer applicable (e.g. after your request has been fully
dealt with). Any mandatory statutory provisions – particularly statutory
data retention periods – remain unaffected.

Other data transmitted by your browser when you visit the website is
automatically recorded by our IT systems. This is the technical data
necessary to display our website and to ensure its stability and safety.
We collect the following data on the legal basis of Art. 6 para. 1
clause 1 (f) of the GDPR:

IP address;
Date and time of request;
Time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT);
Content of the request (specific page);
Request status/HTTP status code;
Respective volume of data transferred;
The website making the request;
Browser;
Operating system and device;
Language and version of the browser software.
Our website also uses a strictly necessary cookie, which is required
for backend login maintenance and editorial purposes. This cookie
does not collect personal information. It will be deleted when you
leave our page or close the browser.

Please note that data transmitted via the internet (e.g. in the case of
communication by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities.
It is impossible to completely protect data against third-party access.

3. What do we use your data for?

Part of your data is collected to ensure the correct functioning of our website.
Other data may be used to analyse the use of our website. It is important
that we do not use your personal data for advertising purposes or pass it on
to third parties without your consent.

4. What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the following rights towards us regarding your personal data:
The right to access;
The right to correction or deletion;
The right to limit processing;
The right to object to processing;
The right to data portability.
You also have the right to appeal to a Data Protection Authority with
regard to the processing of your personal data.

5. Revocation or objection to the processing of your data

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent.
You may revoke your consent at any time. An informal message sent to us
by e-mail is sufficient. The legality of the data processing performed prior to
the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

If you exercise your right of objection under Art. 21 para. 1 of the GDPR,
please explain the reasons why your personal data should not be processed
in the ways we have done it. In the case of your justified objection, we will
examine the situation and will no longer process your personal data – unless
we can prove compelling legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh your
interests, rights and freedoms. Another reason may be the assertion, exercise
or defence of legal claims.

6. Our offers on social media and internet platforms

We maintain an online presence on one or more social networks and platforms
in order to communicate with you, based on our legitimate interests, as customers,
prospects and users, and to inform you about our services and activities.

User data is also processed outside the European Union area. This may result in
risks for users, for example by making it more difficult to enforce their rights.
US providers certified under the Privacy Shield are required to comply with EU
privacy standards.

The networks and platforms will generally process users‘ data for market
research and promotional purposes, and create usage profiles based on users‘
usage behaviour and resulting interests. The usage profiles can be used
to provide advertisements, within and outside the platforms, which should
correspond to users‘ presumed interests. For these purposes, cookies are
usually stored on users‘ computers, and record users‘ behaviour and interests.
In the usage profiles, data can also be stored independently of the devices
users use (in particular if the users are registered and logged in to the respective
platforms).

If, as a user, you are asked to consent to data processing by the respective
platform providers (i.e. you give your agreement e.g. by ticking a box or
pressing a button), the legal basis of the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 (a)
of the GDPR.

Please note the respective data protection guidelines and instructions of
the provider(s) named below, and their data processing and opt-out options.

Also in the case of requests for information and the assertion of user rights,
we point out that these are best enforced by the providers themselves.
Only the providers have access to the user data and can directly take
appropriate measures as well as provide information. If you still need
assistance,you can contact us.

7. Note on the integration of videos

We include videos on our website. To host the videos, we use the video
portal Vimeo (Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA).
Integrating the videos involves connecting to Vimeo’s servers. The Vimeo
server will be informed of your IP address. This also applies if you are not
loggedin to Vimeo when you visit our website or do not have a Vimeo account.
The information collected by Vimeo is transmitted to Vimeo servers in the US.

As long as you are logged into your Vimeo account, you allow Vimeo to
associateyour user behaviour with your personal profile. For the associated
use of data of the browser or terminal used, we refer to Vimeo’s privacy policy,
because Vimeo is responsible for the relevant data processing and controls,
and is solely in charge of the data processing performed there. Vimeo’s privacy
policy can be found here: https://vimeo.com/privacy.

We have chosen to embed the Vimeo player in such a way that prevents it from
tracking the entire data of the playback session.
